This past year because of COVID-19 there haven’t been many rodeo opportunities, especially here in Texas. For many people the rodeo serves as a social gathering and opportunity to gather and meet with likeminded people. On January 13-16, 2020, the Art of the Cowgirl event will be taking place at Horseshoe Park in Queen Creek, Arizona. Art of the Cowgirl is an All-Women’s Ranch Rodeo presented by Cowgirl Magazine an Elite Horse Sale.
The Art of the Cowgirl is a one-of-a-kind event that prides itself on their mission to gather together to celebrate talented artists, makers, and horsewomen. The event serves as a meeting place for women to all connect and bond over one main thing – the western lifestyle.
The four main events taking place over the three days are the Art Auction, Elite Horse show, Ranch Rodeo, Trade Show, and the All-Women’s Ranch rodeo.
The Art of the Cowgirl serves as a way to raise funds and support for up-and-coming artists to expand their knowledge and skills via fellowships with master artists in their field. The event provides fellowships to individuals to further their knowledge with master artists in their trade of choice.
