Summer Style

Tex Mex

Are you sensing a theme…? Are you missing Mexican restaurants and guacamole as much as we are? It’s just not the same with take out. Head out with friends or your special someone in this dressed up casual look. You can never have too much jewelry on! We absolutely love this Johnny Was denim jacket, you can wear it with everything. Denim jackets are one of the pieces in your closet that you can seriously wear year-round and they never go out of style. Don’t ever get rid of a denim jacket, keep them and pass them down to your daughters.  The distressed Tex Mex tee yells fun, especially while sipping on some margs. Once again you can wear it with shorts, jeans, or even linen pants. Pair with boots or flip flops, you will look fantastic and up for anything. Get the look here.

Margaritas for My Senoritas

This outfit is one of our summer favorites, we are LOVING all things yellow this year. This outfit would be perfect for day or night. We have Robbin wearing these adorable Rock and Roll Trousers, but you could wear with shorts, your favorite pair of boyfriends or skinnies. Then add your favorite pair of boots, shoes, or sandals and you are ready for a margarita with your senoritas. Shop the entire outfit here.

Spicy Summer

For all of you that think you cannot pull of red, you are incorrect! The best thing about fun summer tops is that you can wear them with anything. We paired this J. Marie top with these Vervet skinnies, but honestly it would look good with shorts, boot cuts, or trousers. We went simple with the accessories on this one, featuring a fedora, Navajo Pearl Necklace, and concho earring. Get the whole spicy look here.

Wild About Double D

We are wild about the Alley Cat Dress from Double D , the cut of this dress looks good on every body type. We paired it with Double D Apache Black Shortie that has the perfect amount of detail and fringe. These boots will also go with absolutely anything! While picking out the jewelry for this dress, we decided to go with longer pieces that would not take away from the beautiful floral embroidery up top. The Federico Sterling Silver Filigree and Pearl earrings were just the thing to tie all of the jewelry together. The Love Tokens Drowning in Pearls necklace which features an Indian chief drop pendant, brings the pearls all the way down to complete the look.  Get wild about Double D here.

Summer Tribe Vibes

Of course we are a little partial to this graphic tee, we love South Texas Tack and tee pees! We also love our South Texas Tack and Western Women tribe. Y’all are the absolute best! We topped this casual look off with the Atwood Kelsey Turquoise fedora  that features the perfect pop of color with the brown hatband and turquoise stone. Then finished it off by simply layering 16-20” Navajo Pearl necklaces with complementing earrings. Seriously, these earrings are a staple in your wardrobe, you need at least one pair of Navajo Pearl hoops.

Hot Summer Nights

Turquoise? Yes please! Our final outfit for June does not disappoint. First of all, just have to say, if you have not noticed… we love hats! We will put them with every outfit if possible, so if we don’t have one on, we showed some serious restraint. The Charlie 1 Horse War Eagle Hat is where we started with this outfit. It features a woven straw hat band with turquoise beading and a beaded eagle on the right side.  This turquoise top matched perfectly! It also comes in many colors, I might add, is nothing short than amazing. You can easily dress it up or down.

I am sure you are thinking, y’all sure say that a lot, but while picking out what we carry in South Texas Tack, we keep that in mind. We want your wardrobe to be as versatile as possible. This particular shirt can be worn with skinnies (as shown) , shorts, skirts, boot cut jeans, trousers, linen pants, and I’m sure I am forgetting something, but you get the point. You can make it as dressy or as comfy as you would like. Then we finished it off with jewelry. Sometimes we feature one of a kind jewelry pieces that are not at every ones budget. For this outfit, that is not the case. All of the jewelry in the outfit is sixty-four dollars or less. These are also layering pieces that can be wrapped and worn several different ways. Get prepared for those hot summer nights here.
