Although things are tough right now and a lot of you have been either quarantined or are self-quarantining. Go outside and enjoy the sunshine! We have been having some beautiful days here in South Central Texas, hopefully y’all have as well. Don’t get me wrong, we have been having some rainy days, but hey anyone who ever has experienced a drought, will never complain.
Spring break has passed and I want to talk to you about our favorite things for when the weather warms up, the days are longer, and that beautiful sun that is in the sky. I want to help you get ready for when we can all get together and hang out with our friends at rodeos, concerts, beaches, backyards, or wherever else life may take you.
Warm weather outfits consist of two of my personal favorite accessories, hats and sunglasses! Now every year, twice a year, there is the felt to straw transition. Normally Easter to Labor Day is straw season and Labor Day to Easter is felt season. I am noticing with hats though, especially fashion hats, it doesn’t really matter anymore. Kind of like white pants after Labor Day…
Outfit 1
Our first April outfit is the Wrangler Sage Floral Maxi Dress paired with tons of Navajo jewelry and The Old Gringo Mayra Straw Tall Boot. It’s topped with the Wyeth Andy Panama hat. This outfit is perfect for hanging out just about anywhere.
Outfit 2
If dresses are more your style, our next outfit is perfect for spring/early summer weather. It is the Johnny Was Chiara Dress, the blue color of this dress is just gorgeous and the embroidery is so springy! We paired it with Corral’s Beige Silver Embroidered Boot. Add your favorite jewelry or get some new and you are all set to go.
Outfit 3
We all know we love denim here, so our next outfit is the Iva Denim Jacket over the Alise Boho Blouse by Johnny Was. Can you tell we like Johnny Was? You can wear this over your favorite skinnies with tall boots like we have pictured. Or you can mix it up and throw it on with some trousers or booties!
Outfit 4
Don’t worry equine enthusiast and cowgirls, we didn’t forget you! Robbin is wearing the Grey/Pink Kirby Stretch button down, with the Ariat Talia trouser. This outfit is topped off with the Resistol Wheat Ridge Cowboy. Pick your favorite boots and you are ready to hit the arena or the show ring.
