Say Goodbye to Boring Houses and Hello to Barndominiums

I think we can all agree, for the most part, that traditional brick houses are starting to fizzle out for a new fad to make its way in… we’re talking barndominiums! Affordable barn style homes with multiple uses, or you might have heard it as a shop with living quarters. Call it what you want but just remember, they’re cost effective and can be built faster than a standard house. Yep, you heard that right.

There are many different ways to showcase your creative side with barndos. Are you bold with a red exterior or more reserved with a love for neutrals? Are sliding barn doors and shiplap on your wish list or is modern contemporary more your type? The possibilities are endless and that’s what makes it fun!

Keep reading for some of our favorite barndominium designs!

First off, this stained concrete flooring is TO DIE FOR! We are also loving the wooden beams and windmill ceiling fan.

We may be biased but these turquoise cabinets are the best thing since sliced bread. Talk about making a statement! And that big glass window… YES PLEASE!

The bathrooms and laundry room share the same turquoise cabinets and we’re not complaining!
