We asked our STT Team Members what tooling pattern they would use on a custom saddle, and this is what they said!
STT Chocolate Sunflower Tool Barrel Saddle
My go-to tooling pattern is definitely the Sunflower Tool. Sunflowers are my favorite and adding them to my saddle is something I never imagined. Adding them to this chocolate saddle keeps it looking a little more subtle. – Nancy
STT Half Tool Spider Stamped Chocolate Suede Seat Medium Oil Saddle
I like the Spider tool stamp the best! It’s a very simple design to go on anyone’s saddle, but still has a different pattern then your basic tooling you see everywhere else. – Brianna
STT Wyoming Flower Tooled Design
This Wyoming flower tooling would have to be my favorite. I just love how pronounced the flowers are on all parts of the saddle. It’s perfect for the girls who love a flashy saddle that makes a statement everywhere they go. – Leticia
STT Team Roper Half Chocolate Tool Half Chestnut Roughout Saddle
The Waffle tooled saddles are my favorite. It’s a very basic tooling that can just go with anything. – Kenna
STT Roughout Seat with Acorn Tooling
My favorite tooling for my saddle would be this acorn tooling. I like my saddle to be a bit more on the plain side, but adding the acorn tooling gives it that little bit of unique twist everyone’s saddle needs! – Raevyn
Martin Saddlery Stingray Half Chestnut Basket Tool with Barbed Wire Border
I’d have to say just a simple basket weave tooling is my favorite. While the basket weave keeps the saddle looking simple, the barbed wire border gives it that little bit of pop it needs to stand out. – Danielle
