Washington County Fair Rodeo and Carnival

Rodeo, Rides, and Ribbons!

With 150 years of tradition, the Washington County Fair is “The Oldest County Fair in Texas”. The Washington County Fair is an annual event held each September in Brenham, Texas which has become one of Washington County’s premium festivals.

The Washington County Fair offers several days of exciting events for the whole family. Kicking it off on Saturday with a BBQ cook-off, trail ride, Junior Rodeo, and the Fair Parade at Downtown Brenham. As for the following week of the fair, there is always something going on such as the rodeo, carnival, a variety of livestock shows, concerts & live music, fair food, contests, special attractions, commercial exhibits, shopping, and more!

One of the big events that the Washington County Fair hosts is one of the top-rated rodeos in the area. The rodeo is sanctioned by the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) and is great fun for the whole family. Enjoy events such as bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, mutton bustin’, team roping, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, bareback riding and of course rodeo clowns, all in the comfort of our spectator friendly grandstands.

And don’t forget about the musical entertainment! This year’s line-up will feature Randy Rogers Band, Kyle Park, Trace Adkins, and more talented artists.
