With summer coming to an end, it’s time to start unpacking our coats for the random cold days that Texas will throw at us. Personally, fall is one of my favorite seasons. The leaves change colors, the air is a bit crisper, and it’s appropriate to start wearing black/dark colors every day. With styles changing all the time, it can be difficult to determine if last year’s fall attire is still in.
A go-to of mine is a flannel shirt. They can be worn with just about anything! Jeans, leggings, dressed up or down, this is a very versatile piece to have. Since the 90’s style is back a straight/loose fitting (mom jean) is a good option, crop t-shirts are a way to keep cool. When it gets cold there are flannel options that are lined with different types of material to keep you warm. Not into flannels? Worry not, a blazer is always a great alternative. Business casual is always in season.
As far as pants go, everywhere you go you’re going to see the loose-fitting wide-leg jean look. I will always have a love for the trouser jean look but the wide-leg pairs so well with some fashion boots and your favorite leather jacket (which is always going to be in style this time of year). Printed pants are making a comeback as well, great for a plain blouse and blue jean jacket with your favorite booties.
Aztec print isn’t going anywhere soon either, the prints and colors are just so appealing. Love having an Aztec jacket for fall, a great piece to own. Paired with your favorite ripped jeans is a go-to look personally. And last but not least, turquoise jewelry is always perfect to add to any outfit, any time of the year.
