Yes, South Texas Tack has a Beer & Wine bar in the store!
Opened in late 2019, where South Texas Tack introduced beer, wine, wine-a-Rita’s, slushes for kids, and Starbucks coffee to retail. This bar is the first of its kind, offering a unique shopping experience to retail with a little hospitality. Enjoying a glass of wine or a cold beer while you shop around takes the shopping atmosphere to the next level. The Bar Nothing Bar is nestled over in the far West side corner of the building next to the hat department where the outside courtyard can be easily accessed. In addition to the bar, the lounge area can seat up to fifty people and the courtyard is unlimited.
One of the bar favorites is the Wine-a-Rita’s. The Wine-a-Rita’s are a frozen adult slush made with wine and oh so refreshing. They are served in a variety of flavors strawberry mango, peach bellini, lemon drop and so many more. Our local Texas wine selection can be noted as one of the best in Washington County. The wine selection offers Zinfandel’s, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlots, Riesling’s, Pinots, and dessert wines. The Bar Nothing Bar has scheduled wine tasting from our local wineries throughout the year. All wine tastings are open to the public and we welcome groups of any size.
