The mom that can do it all; Stephanie Griffey is a lawyer, cowgirl, and western lifestyle influencer known as “Courtroom Cowgirl.” Stephanie was born and raised in Idaho where she now owns her law firm specializing in equine law. Alongside being a lawyer, she is a successful Instagram influencer while rodeoing at a professional level. Stephanie and her husband Justin live on a ranch in Idaho with her two kids, Jace and Jaycee where they have a mixture of horses, cows, and dogs along with many more animals. When asked what her favorite part of the western lifestyle is she expressed that it enables her children to grow up with animals and learn hard-work and responsibility. Of course, her favorite thing is being able to spend time under blue skies and in open fields because who wouldn’t enjoy that.

WesternWomen.com sat down with Stephanie to ask them a couple of questions.

How do you define your style?

Stephanie: Western and comfortable. At home, I’m a jeans, tee-shirt, ball cap and side-braid kind of gal. A comfy tee tucked into high waist jeans is my MO. At work, I mix cowgirl wear with professional wear. Turquoise jewelry and cowboy boots with slacks and a blazer is my typical work attire.

How did you first get involved with the Western Lifestyle?

Stephanie: My mom grew up on a ranch in Cascade, Idaho. She was a rodeo queen, competed in rodeos and raised and trained her own horses. When I was very young, I rode her childhood horse, Pepper. I credit Pepper for my love of the western lifestyle.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

Stephanie: “Keep going.”

What do you count as your greatest achievement?

Stephanie: My family – my husband, Justin, and my two children, Jace and Jentry.

What is your favorite part about the Western Lifestyle?

Stephanie: The western lifestyle enables my children to grow up with animals and learn hard-work and responsibility while spending time under blue skies and in open fields. That’s my favorite thing.

What advice or words of encouragement would you give to other Western Women?

Stephanie: There is no dream too big!

What do you do to unwind?

Stephanie: Run. When I’m stressed or need time to be in my head, I find an inspiring podcast to play on my phone, grab my running shoes and go.

Tell us something no one or few people know about you

Stephanie: During college, I moved to New York City to pursue a modeling contract. It was an opportunity of a lifetime, but my horse dreams couldn’t keep me in the big city for long.
