Did you know that Houston, Texas is home to one of the largest and oldest Polo clubs in the nation? The Houston Polo Club was founded in 1928 and remains dedicated to the sport of polo and equestrian activities, of course with a Houston flare. Located on a pristine hidden 26 acres in the middle of Houston the HPC is located just minutes from The Galleria and Downtown.
Who can go to the HPC? Access to the Houston Polo Club is available not only to polo players and their families, but also to others who may wish to experience the thrill and excitement of “the Sport of Kings”. Polo tournaments are played throughout the Spring and Fall Seasons, with final matches available to the public on Sunday afternoons.
The HPC hosts some of the most premier tournaments in the world each year. Including the Women’s US Polo Championship in November. For a full list of events visit their website and contact HPC for tickets and box seat availability.
Private Corporate Polo Clinics? Why yes, they can host your company for a unique team building experience. Are you looking for a way to invigorate your team? A polo clinic at the Houston Polo Club is just the thing to motivate, educate and entertain both clients and or peers and no previous riding is necessary.

Tis’ the season it Fair Time!
It’s time to get your show on! Dance and ride rides the night away. Here in central Texas our kids and young adults are getting ready for back to school and showing their fair projects. These kids and young adults have been preparing all year and are ready to show off their hard work. We kick off the fall fair season with Fayette County fair, which begins August 29th and runs through September 1st. Then just around the corner Colorado County starts September 5th through September 7th. Next is Washington County which is September 13th through September 21st. Waller County runs September 27th through October 6th. Then Austin County which starts during Waller County October 3rd through 13th. Then finally Brazos County, which is the last one in our surrounded area, and it begins on October 12th and goes through the October 20th. All of these fairs prepare the young for the bigger shows like Houston Livestock show, San Antonio, and many more. Fairs are opportunities for kids and young adults to learn about the livestock industry and raise money for their upcoming life experiences.
